Major/Key Accountabilities:

· Customer Focus - Be credible with customers and be seen as an asset to future operation design and implementation. Understand existing operations in detail (material and information management flow) and make improvement proposals that are credible and realise value. Challenge traditional mindsets at internal and external customers and understand their needs and expectations. Develop and manage M,P&L programs in line with customer expectations and constraints. Escalate and resolve customer satisfaction issues related to solution design.

· Design Solutions - Plan, design, agree and implement optimal packaging flows following a thorough analysis of the current solution (layout, systems, stock management, asset control, customer on-site support). Produce visual aids to support internal and external customer evaluations, use process mapping to add technical substance to concept, prove how multiple parties could work together successfully, identify potential areas of waste early. Gather inputs from peers to help create different scenarios; products management (equipment and RFID), value chain, business development and implementation.

· Standardisation - Maximise the company capabilities and deliver leading edge M,P&L designs. Develop standard operating procedures to ensure optimal results within material flow. Plan, prepare and launch system to deliver the maximum productivity of the company or customer assets. Equipment security of supply planning and management, increasing asset productivity within operations, forecast flows & stocks, pool balancing, contingency planning framework, risk management.

· Lean Management - Value stream mapping, Take time, 5S, Visual Management, Kanban, Total Productive Maintenance, Kaizan Management.

· Operations - Be fully trained in Zero harm and safety initiatives.

· Cost to Serve - Produce cost-to-serve budgets for all proposed solutions (labour and equipment, materials and systems).

· Risk Assessment - Generate FMEAs, develop and manage action plans, resolve issues.

· M,P&L Strategy - Develop a launch plan encompassing all materials, logistics & planning activities and ensure processes are fully aligned with local market requirements and regulations and the capabilities.

· New Business Implementation - Support new business launch programs at customer locations on time and in line with agreed expectations (materials, planning and logistics, operations, service offer, packaging, training, recruitment).

· Capabilities - All Professional/Administrative level.
